Great time! Hooked w large tarpon within 30 mn. Got the fish boat side with leader touch. Biggun! 6ft/100#. After tiring ourselves out, went to catch some trout to end the trip. Ty Capt Fred!

Had an awesome time with Fred! Booked a 4 hour experience and caught sea trout, snook, redfish, snapper, and jacks. Great guy and put me on fish. 10/10 experience.

First of all I would recommend a six hour trip.Fred has many spots for a variety of fish. Weather, tides and of course red tide can affect any fishing but Fred found us a great day of fishing!

Our fishing trip was fantastic! Captain Fred had so much energy! If the fish weren't biting, we would move to the next spot, he never ran out of spots. We caught fish at almost all of them, we would move when the catfish started biting. We highly recommend Fred Gowdy Charters!

Our group consisted of two adults and a nine-year-old, all novices at fishing. Jeff was exceptional with our sometimes-fussy child. He displayed a wealth of knowledge and navigated us to multiple fishing locations. Despite the fish being initially unresponsive, Jeff persisted and ultimately discovered a spot where we managed to catch several sizable fish to bring home.

Fred was an outstanding boat captain, showing exceptional friendliness towards me, my eight-year-old son, and my uncle. He took us to multiple locations where he anticipated we would find fish. My son even caught an impressive eight-pound black drum, a moment of great pride for him. I highly recommend Fred; he was fantastic!

Despite the frigid South Florida weather, Captain Fred Gowdy ensured we were catching fish for most of the day. We didn't anticipate much, but Fred went above and beyond to find the right spots for my son and me. We reeled in a variety of fish, but the one I was eager to catch was a Snook, which happened to be my first catch of the day. Our haul included Snapper, Sheepshead, Snook, Catfish, and a Bonnethead Shark. While some might attribute it to luck, I believe it was the relentless effort put in by Fred Gowdy Charters. I was extremely satisfied.

Fred was great! He got us onto some Redfish right away. He has great knowledge of the waters and where the best habitat is. We also caught some Snook and Sheephead. My daughter and I had an awesome time.
